Step out of the frame of fear, my dear
Though cancer fills your mind.
Step out of the frame of dread instead
And leave your cares behind.
Step out of the frame of helplessness
And see your options through.
Step out of the frame of hopelessness
And look at life anew.
Step out of the frames and stride away
From cancer’s gripping strife.
Advance with hope for a better day
Step forward and on with life.
