Infusion: The Cure

by Judy Conroy

Infuse the poison so I may live.
So much remains in my soul to give.

When solace feels just out of reach,
you hold me near and help me seek

The Cure.

No more pain and no more sorrows,
      promises of bright tomorrows.
I will survive another day, and your
      sweet words will now convey

The Cure.

Infuse my heart; come close to me.
We will surpass this destiny.

When life has seemed to come undone,
you know that you’re the only one –

The Cure.

No more pain and no more sorrows,
      promises of bright tomorrows.
I will survive another day, and your
      sweet words will now convey

The Cure.

Infuse our hopes and constant dreams
that someday soon it all will mean

The Cure.

You are the miracle right by my side,
and we will soon realize

The Cure.

You are the Cure.

You are my Cure.
