I’m in the light,
But I’m not out
Of the woods.

My hair is growing
Back, slowly, but
It’s growing.

I get tired, yet
I went shopping.
Now I know what
Size I wear.

My hands are
Cold and numb,
But my soul is
Warm and alive.

My memory isn’t
What it used to be,
But I remember to
Embrace my family
And friends and say,
“I love you!”
